I took a small glass container and filled it with baking soda. I keep this is my bathroom. I apply the BS it as I would baby powder. It's a little messy so I do it before putting on clothes (after the shower) and make sure to wipe away any residue before putting clothes on.

I love that you guys are giving it a chance! If it works for you, make sure yoy pay it forward.

Does anyone smell fresh after hot yoga, regardless of deodorant type?

How are you putting it on? Just dusting it under there?

Baking soda is one of those things, along with white vinegar, that constantly amazes me with it's abilities to free my home of toxins.

Baking soda? Fantastic! Beats spending what I just spent on mineral salt deodorant.

I just found all sorts of great "recipes" for baking soda deodorant in case the baking soda alone irritates the skin. Apparently, you can mix baking soda with corn starch (1:1) or 1/4 cup of baking powder, 1/4 cup of arrowroot powder and 4-5 tablespoons of coconut oil. Your post has motivated me to do some experimenting.

I'm glad I was not part of that conversation. Just wanted to let you know you prespired me... oh I mean inspired me to put B.S. to the test. My pits have been covered in B.S. since this morning and I can't wait to hear what my family has to say about it later on in the day.

On a seperate note. Keep on being that colorful person you are. I for one like it.
